ABOUT MARK

Mark Ziemer is an Atlanta native who specializes in branding, editorial design, and print design. Since graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011, I’ve lent my passion for telling stories through design to organizations all across Atlanta.

At SCAD, I was involved with SCAD Student Media in a range of positions—both in writing and design—for the nationally-recognized student publication, SCAN magazine. Pursuing a love of magazines, I then served as an art director for Atlanta magazine’s Custom Media division, designing local and regional publications for clients. Having checked that off my bucket list, I have since pivoted to working on branding and marketing projects for clients across the city and beyond — including the Atlanta Preservation Center, the City of Atlanta’s Department of City Planning, Pace Academy, TNT, and more. I am currently the Lead Designer for Georgia Tech’s Institute Communications team.

Off hours, you can find me exploring nature, lending my wit to the local comedy scene, hunting for the best taco shop, or battling it out at a weekly trivia night.
